South-east Queensland can boast some of the best fresh-food vending in the world. BananaBar™, FruitBar™ and the world-first CityPantry™ are situated at central sites throughout South East corner. These sought-after fresh-food vending outlets provide ‘better’, 24/7 eating options for people on the run. They are an innovative approach to vending and stock great-tasting, affordable fresh produce, snacks and drinks.
The original site, BananaBar at Post Office Square, Brisbane, was launched in June 2013. This event attracted incredible national and international interest across mainstream and social media. The location was chosen because of a lack of fresh fruit in the area and to tap into a high flow of potential consumers. While Post Office Square was an invaluable stepping stone to the development of fresh-food vending, alternative sites that better target our consumers have since been identified.
CityPantry, at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital (RBWH), Brisbane, is one such site. Located at a central meeting place, the RBWH’s Atrium, the Pantry draws together our original fruit-focused machines, and a new delicatessen-style machine with mouth-watering small meals, yoghurt, protein balls and much more. This venue also provides a café-style preparation space equipped with microwaves and other amenities. CityPantry was launched in August 2015.
During recent months, our team has launched new sites at the University of Queensland and North Lakes Health Precinct. Fresh-food vending is growing in popularity and our sites are increasing.
Where to find us - February 2017
Our team actively seeks new high-value sites where the demand warrants daily servicing to ensure our food always tastes great. Keep watching this space for new locations.
