How we have evolved

South-east Queensland is home to innovative, premium fresh-food vending including BananaBar™, FruitBar™ and the world-first CityPantry™. These are situated at central sites throughout the south-east corner. Our fresh-food vending outlets are an innovative approach to vending and stock great-tasting, affordable fresh produce, snacks and drinks.

The original site, BananaBar, at Post Office Square, Brisbane, was launched in June 2013, attracting national and international attention across mainstream and social media. Post Office Square was chosen because of a lack of fresh fruit in the area despite there being a high flow through of consumers.

Since our launch, alternative sites that better target our consumers' needs have  been identified. CityPantry, at the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital (RBWH), Brisbane, is one such site.

Located at the RBWH’s Atrium and launched in August 2015, CityPantry draws together our original fruit-focused machines, and a new delicatessen-style machine with mouth-watering light meals, yoghurt, protein balls and much more. This venue provides a café-style preparation space equipped with microwaves and other amenities.

Most recently, 1 William street - the new office building of the Queensland Government -

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1_William_Street,_Brisbane  - has become home to FruitBar on 16 of its 40 floors.

From 1am each morning, Brisbane's fresh-food-vending team select, package and stock the best fruits and other foods so all  machines are ready for the day ahead. This ensures that healthy options are available for every employee within a short distance of their work space.

In 2017, our team will continue to launch new sites at busy locations across South-East Queensland. As these food hubs grow in popularity, we will continue to provide innovative food options around the clock.
